The Center for Child Welfare and Adoption Studies mission is to promote the well-being of children from the child welfare system and elevate their well-being and that of their families, and promote ethical, empirically based policy and to practice to improve the well-being of children and families served by the child welfare system through maintaining an active research program that increases knowledge and is a basis for improving policy and practice in our State and in the nation.
